Lucretia Bingham studied writing at Sarah Lawrence College in Bronxville, New York. Upon graduation, she went to Los Angeles where she made a living as a free-lance writer and photographer. Her credits include publication in Vanity Fair, Conde Nast Traveler, Travel and Leisure, and Saveur. One of her food pieces was published in an anthology of the best Food Writing of 2005. She was a frequent contributor, for many years, to both the Los Angles Times Magazine and their Travel section. In 1999, she moved back East to her roots. With her beloved husband Jim, she lives and writes in a grand shingle style house on Long Island Sound. In 2014, her first novel The Talcott House was published by Keith Publications. In 2016, the sequel SHE was also published by Keith. Both are available on Amazon.com. She continues to do literary media events, library readings, and radio interviews.
